About the role
Copenhagen Type Co designs retail and custom typefaces for brands across Europe. We're looking for a type designer to collaborate on custom commissions and library releases.
This is a remote, project-based engagement with room for ongoing collaboration.
What you'll do
- Draw and space typefaces across weights
- Handle interpolation and font production
- Collaborate on custom brand commissions
What we're looking for
- Demonstrated type design work
- Fluency in Glyphs (or RoboFont)
- Strong understanding of spacing and kerning
Nice to have
- Variable font experience
- Non-Latin scripts
