How a custom project can be cancelled, when a prepayment is returned, and what is owed for work already done.
This policy covers custom project work agreed with TIMETORIOT, Thormøhlengt. 51, Bergen 5006, Norway. It explains when a project can be cancelled, when a prepayment is returned, and when completed work must still be paid. It sits alongside our Terms & Conditions and our Payment & Billing Policy.
Job-listing fees are a different service. Those refunds stay on the Refund Policy.
If you cancel before the agreed work has started, the prepayment is returned. Work has started only when we have begun the scope set out in the written agreement, not when a message or a quote is sent.
If you cancel after work has started, you pay for the work already done. Any part of a prepayment that has not been used against that work is returned. We confirm in writing what has been completed and what remains unused before the refund is issued.
Work that has been delivered under the agreed scope is payable. A cancellation does not undo a stage that has already been completed. We do not refund fees for work that has been delivered because the brief changed after delivery, or because the result was used less than expected.
Write to [email protected] from the address on the agreement, or use the contact form. Include the project name and whether work has started. We aim to acknowledge the request within 2 business days.
An approved refund of unused prepayment is paid in euros to the original payment method. A credit note is issued against the related invoice. Depending on the bank or card provider, the funds can take a further 5–10 business days to appear.
Fees for a published job listing, and for listing add-ons, are not handled on this page. See the Refund Policy.
